We produce the 2 or 3 recovery DVD's which no longer ship with computers. If your hard drive fails outside of waranty, you need these disks to restore the machine to a working state. Manufacturers charge upwards of £60 to send you software which you have already paid for.

 

Collection of your existing computer and transfer of required data (documents, musc, photos etc.) on to your new laptop or external media.

 

Free responsible disposal of old computer after destroying hard drive data.

Carry out all Windows Updates before delivery. (New laptops often update for at least an hour upon first connection to the internet.)

 

Remove any bundled software or trial software if desired.

 

Preinstall security software as required.

 

Download and install any required apps such as Live Messenger, Skype, Itunes etc.

 

Upon delivery, we can set up any email accounts you might have, connect to your broadband service using whatever equipment you have. We will install any printers, scanners and cameras that you have.

 

We can help you set up backups to safeguard your data including photos and music.

 

We aim to leave everything set up with nothing left for you to do except enjoy your new PC. If there is anything else you'd like us to do as part of the setup which we haven't mentioned, just ask.
